    Ford Trans shifts hard

I have a 1994 Ford f150 with automatic overdrive trans. Have noticed it
wants to shift a little hard from first to second..I suspect the modulator,
but should I be looking for other possibilities? Thanks

The AOD and AODE do not have modulators, you should probably have the TV cable reset at Ford or a transmission shop as you need a pressure gauge to set it,some later transmissions had a problem with a worn bushing issue and that can cause damage if not corrected. For info on Ford Overdrives click on this: www.clickclickracing.com this is a Ford only site for the AOD's.
