A few of thoughts come to mind.
The seal is bad (possibly damaged when the drive shaft was installed)
The yoke is pitted or has a grove worn in it.
The rear bushing is worn.
The plug in the end of the yoke is leaking.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....
