Just had my 350 turbo rebuilt and now when i park for awhile or im on a incline it drips tranny fluid from around the drive shaft yoke where it goes into the back of the transmission. The person that rebuilt this said its a common problem with those , and that they would put silicon were a weep hole is . Is this something that has been addressed on this fourm before ? If so is it a easy fix ?? Thanks for all the help .
do not know about a fix but my 350 does the same thing when it is on the ramps for awhile. i think it is a seal.
A few of thoughts come to mind.
The seal is bad (possibly damaged when the drive shaft was installed)
The yoke is pitted or has a grove worn in it.
The rear bushing is worn.
The plug in the end of the yoke is leaking.
Bank on the first three things that Mike said above.
I would bet the yoke is worn.
