Think I have a rare t-10..any help decoding?
Hello all! I rebuild t5's on the side...I build one for a guy and he didn't have a t5 core to give back to me, but said that he had a t-10 off a 427 thunderbird that had been parted due to rust. I took it as a core, and after some research, I'm finding that perhaps this wasn't a too common trans?
can anyone help decode exactly what I have here? Does anyone have any links to decoding charts? I haven't been able to find any.
Wikepedia says only 120 427 tbirds were build over the mid to late 60's..any way to verify that this was from that exact car?
Here are the pics I have...I was given the t-10 trans, the bell housing, the hurst shifter, and a scatter shield.
the code on the tail is hard to read, but it says e7-3 which I believe is may 7 1963
