If I remember right, the OEM shifter mounted to the crossmember or some such silly thing vs. the Hurst mounting directly to the transmission....Rods would be entirely different, the Hurst rods are a bunch more heavy duty!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
