    TKO600 Speedo Output

On the TKO600 there is both a mechanical (standard Ford) and an electronic output for speed. Is the electronic output compatible with Classic Instruments electronic inputs without anything special? Bottom line, if I buy an electronic speedometer from Classic will that transmission output power it OK?

yes, the output should work with any electronic speedometer, Classic, New Vintage, VDO, etc.
You need to find out if it is magnetic or hall effect, On our speedos it does not matter, but it might on some

    Hope that helps

We manufacture New Vintage gauges. I will PM you a link, some folks get a bit touchy with company links on BBs. What style/theme is the vehicle? Our gauges are styled by period, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s rather than generic.

It's a '33 hiboy coupe, kind of a '60's vintage in overall look with Cragar S/S, bigs & littles, but going new age EFI on a 347 stroker coupled through the TREMEC 5 speed.

    Hi Roger,
The speedo sensor on your TKO is on the passenger side. It will wire into the speedo and then the speedo will then need to be calibrated.
I have the correct pigtail for the sensor and an aluminum plug for the mechanical cable port.

    Mike,
I will be calling for the plug and pigtail. Is the output magnetic pulse or hall effect, just to be sure I get the right speedometer first time.
