turbo 400 yoke
I know this question has probably been asked a 100 times before but I couldn't find a search for this site. I'm have a turbo 400 with a fixed yoke, can I take the bolt out and use it as a slip yoke with a one piece drive shaft? How long can you make a drive shaft before you need to split it?Thanks

Yoke drive 400
I don't think you can do that but I wouldn't bet my life on it....I remember when hot rods were all home made.

Hi,
The bolt in yoke has no plug in the rear nearest the u-joint. The bolt in yoke will leak lots of oil. I sell the correct T-400 yoke if you still need it. What u-joint size do you have.Mike Forte

I'll have to measure it or is there some other way to tell what size it is? Thanks
on small cars yes. but fat fender cars are pretty much the same in size and weight as the donor car. i found s10 brakes work great on fat fender and pickups. a deuce will just need manual brakes...
