as the title says, id like to run a mustang t5 behind my flathead. i have 3 4 banger world class ford t5s. i know the flathead wont produce much power, thats why i like the 3.97 first gear. it seems like the aftermarket kits are for gm style t5. im pretty sure the tranny to bell bolt pattern is the same. i know input shafts are different. gm runs 26 spline while ford runs 10. i know the shifter is farther forward on a gm and the tail shaft is longer. but i dont know if the input shaft is the same size lenght. if it is, i could just buy the kit and swap out the clutch disc. anyone know the size of the gm stuff??
