    power glide to 350 turbo swap

     



    Can anybody let me know which flex plate/starter i need for my 283 in my 63 impala? Did this swap years ago in a 53 chevy, but i don't remember which size flex plate i used... old timers is kick'n in

    Depends on the starter, short & long bolt = 153 tooth (small), both long bolts = 168 tooth (large)

    283, I think only had a small flex plate and the starter mounted on the bellhousing..........I think
