    Im working on a 66 nova has floor shift I think the tranny came from a colum shift car. Is the hook up on the side of tranny the same I bought a bracket for the floor shift but dont know how to attach to tranny?

    Does the floor shifter use a cable or rod? And does the transmission have a lever on the side?

    jester853 I have welded a bracket onto the old one pointing up and used the rod and its still working and thats been 20some odd years ago or you can take the pan off and turn the bracket over if you know anything about a automatic I hope this helps you good luck
