Had my '63 powerglide rebuilt because it would slam into first when starting after a stop. It only really did it when the transmission was warmed up... maybe hot. Much better after the rebuild but it still hesitates to "engage" in first after a stop. Any ideas on what might be causing that? And, does anyone have a good recommendation on a powerglide guy in the Sacramento CA area?
