    valve body

     



    Is the rod that hooks to the s link suppose to go all the way back into the valve body. I thought that it once did. mine does not go in all the way anymore.

    yes that is it. i am talking about the rod that hooks to the s-link. it looks slightly bent. i can bend it back but what i am wondering is does the rod go all the way down into the throttle body.

    I fixed it. I put the rod into the valve body and gently tapped it all the way around until it fell into place. looks like someone had dropped the valve body and bent the rod. Thanks for the help Denny
