    460 ford flex plate

I have a 460 that was equipped with a clutch and manual trans. I have a
C6 that i'm rebuilding to use behind it. The 460 has a knife weight behind the dampner, so it is externally balanced. Is there a visual way to identify the proper flex plate with weight that I need? Or is there an I.D. number stamped or printed that I can use? Is there more than one size weight so that I can screw that up? I'm sure to have more questions, so please, bear with me.

My book lists two plates for 79-94 460's.....D9TZ-6375A and E1TZ-6375C. Both have weights, 164 tooth ring gear, 14.23" dia. The first one doesn't have a visible weight, so the book may be in error on that. The second one is likely the one you need. I hope it is, 'cause I need one too!
