    Powerglide question

I see the jw bell on some powerglides, but they seem like a seemless casing to me. Are they? How do you install a new bellhousing on a 1 pc case? What am I not seeing?

the one peice cases are a GM casting, the 2 peice ones are aftermarket ones or specifically made that way. they make adapters to bolt GM cases to another brand of motor.
