Hi all. Have a 700R4 Trans behind a 350/330/SBC crate motor, New in a '46 ford - fired it for the first time and drove it up and down the block once. The trans wouldn't shift out of first gear. The engine was hotwired from the Battery to the coil but no wiring to the trans. Would this cause it not to shift? Thanks for an answer to a dumb question. Charlyg
