No, to my knowledge there is nothing in any of the rules about whether you install the motor/trans with solid or flexible mounts. Solids are used by racers because they're bulletproof and a motor plate on the front of the motor will allow more room in the engine bay for headers and such.
Either use solid motor/trans mounts or flexible motor/trans mounts together. Do not use solid at one end and flex at the other.PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.
