(2)TH350 shift linkage seals?
First want to say Hi. Great info on this forum from you guys.
I put a shift kit and all new seals in my 1969 TH350.
I removed the small seal at the shift linkage shaft (flush to the housing boss) easily and there seems to be another one in there approx. 3/16" below housing boss.
Is there supposed to be a second one? How do I get it out? A buddy suggested drilling, putting a screw in and pulling out but I'm afraid of seal wall damage.
Can't find any exploded view that shows these seals.
Please help if you've got experience....

Too many "builders" double up on the seals thinking they have covered their butt. Inspect the case bore and make sure it's smooth and clean. Run 1 seal only upon reinstall. Use the tool Denny described, no worries. What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

Re:TH350 seal
Thats the ticket!
Thanks a bunch guys.
well I decided to do another mod to gain max travel of bars past the intended travel points just for that peace of mind. 1/8 inch is to close so now I'll have 1/2" or better. I cut a 3/16" wall...
