Never never try to out-smart the professional engineers, Stick to GM trany fluid and enjoy your ride.

Depends on what was used in the rebuild, some rebuilders recomend type F fluid. I'd contact the builder and go with his recomendation.

I have to call Jackson too Jim, as I bought their 350 Turbo and need to find out if they recommend Dextron 3 or some exotic like B&M. They are tough to get on the phone sometimes because they are a small operation, but they have called me back when I left a message in the past. They seem like super guys and build one great tranny for a super price.

If you call them and get an answer to your question, could you post it so I don't have to call them?

    Thanks,

    Don
