Smittyiv.....Streets means well...Uncle Bob and I got him all Po asking about his not so loved senator....Damn !!!!!. I did it again...She IS NOT his senatore!!!!!!....I'll get it right yet....The lower linkage rod going to your 64 Powerglide should be adjustable...Hold the throttle wide open (don't forget to shut the engine off)....Pull the TV rod...(throttle valve)..all the way forward and adjust til it just fits in the lower hole of the carbs throttle arm..That pretty much sets it where it belongs...The TV is not only for kick down (passing gear) but controls the upshift as well...I've got three 64 SS Impalas...They all came off the same assembly line in Cailfornia.....Al...The cylinders have to be inline.!!!
