Shift Kits
Maybe this has been asked here a lot maybe not, I am not sure. Anyways, I just put in my built 351W into my 66 F100 and my tranny was built about a year and a half ago and supposedly it was built with a shift kit. There is no shift kit because if so then I think the guy forgot to put it in haha. The tranny is a C4 with a 2,000 or 2500 stall (I don't remember which one it is). I want a pretty firm shift where it will squeal (sp) the tires throughout the gears. This truck is now my fun truck and I am putting in a lock rite that I just got in the rear end so I am not that worried about comfort on the street. I looked on ebay and this guy is selling a Transgo kit and I saw some B&M ones, etc.
Thanks a lot for any info!www.streamlineautocare.com
If you wan't something done right, then you have to do it yourself!
