I've forgot about the 350, but with the 700r4s you take the accumulator spring out to get a hard shift, I think its the same same with the 350. the spring holds the piston back, it don't push it foward. the oil ring could be broke, but it wouldn't shift as well as it does now. I think you need a rebuild and a mild shift kit.Originally posted by halftanked

Can I do this kit or rebuild myself? And can it be done w/trans in place?"I also have a tuner, the reception's not to good, but it works"

I wouldn't think so, if you've never done one before. you'll need some help I believe. don't install the shift kit into a weak trans. do it will just make it worse.Originally posted by fiftee6
