Ok well today I found out that the guy is going to be putting in a Daaco performer stall converter. Maybe that is performance not performer, I don't know. Either way, is this a good stall? From the searches I have been doing they say B&M and Daaco aren't good but then again there are some guys on some other forums saying that they have used them and they held up pretty good and they towed stuff all the time and rode their trucks or cars pretty hard with them. I just want to make sure I am getting a good price for 950 bucks. I think it is pretty good and reasonable since he is installing everything so it's ready to drive out the door and putting all new bands in it, etc. I looked at the tranny today since he had it in a a huge heated parts washer and looks like there are round metal pieces, gears, etc he is reusing and then the C4 core. He said he is putting a whole new band kit and/or rebuild kit in it, etc. Any info here is still needed, thanks. It should be done at the end of next week he said. Oh and is 288 bucks for a Daaco too much money?
