    Transmission swap

I'm planning to replace a TM400 with a 700R4 in a 78 Chev P/U. Will the existing drive shaft work?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I think it depends on the length of the tail shaft on the new trany, and you will probably have to switch the yoke for the new trany on the old drive line if it's the right length.
