Heres a pic of the shift linkage, where it is supported at the engine by the rod. If the new motor has no shift linkage support, where do I weld a new 1?Originally posted by techinspector1
Matt, there was a similar bolt-on arrangement on my 429/C6. Check a 300-6 in a boneyard or maybe somebody has a pickup with a 300-6/auto that you could look at to see if the same arrangement was used.
