if its a POWERGLIDE trans. it will have a rod that runs from the left side of the trans. to the carb.
if its a th350 it will have a cable that runs from the right side of trans to the carb.
if its a th400 it has a elec. sw. at the carb, the wires goes to the left side of the trans.Mike
