    Powergliders?

Anyone ever rebuild one? Since it's only a 2 speed how hard can it be?? Haha, probably very.... Mine has trouble shifting. There was a manual valve body installed but it still seems to slip between shifts. Feels almost like it's going into neutral! Clutches? Pressure? Converter? Not fun... Any ideas? Thanks.

ive built a lot of them and as far as trans rebuild goes its one of the easyest ones to do. about all that goes wrong is the front pump and the high gear clutches. i put new everything in mine when i did them but a lot of shops would just pull the front clutch pack out and put new clutches there and put it back togother. the only other clutches you have is the rev. clutch pack and kick-down band. we would clean the conv. back then. you need a special tool to get the rev. clutches out of the case but it can be done without it. like everything else if they was all that easy everybody would be doing.
