R Pope, thanks for your advice. I did what you said to do today by putting it in second and then revearse... It works! Now is it doing this because of a clutch problem though or is it normal?
Also I don't plan to tow anything with this truck ever so no need to worry about that. I think I will keep this tranny until it needs rebuilt and then throw in a C4. No point in getting rid of a perfectly good tranny.
