How can you identify which trans you have?
I got my info from an 84 camaro FSM. It would have been a carb trans as that was all they had that year. The trans i am working with came in a 90 jeep wrangler that the PO paid to have converted form a 4 cyl/5spd to a 305/auto.
I have yet to install the tannie cooler (it has the in-rad one of course). In sub 55 degree weather there is no problem at all. In 70+ weather the temp guage reads a bit higher than i would like. Making the trans lock up in 4th made a HUGE diff in temp (20 degree drop at least).
The PO did not go for the 'recomended' 4 core alum rad ($500...) but has some 3 core stock style rad and a (small) gm-style clutched fan (and shroud). I was thinking a flex-a-lite fan might pull more air, although the one there now passes the 'airflow test' (holding a piece of cardboard to the core at idle)Chris
Only the dead fish go with the flow.

Thanks guys! It's been a long road. Fun doing finishing work for sure. Getting the dash ready for paint and some interior trim. Have to do some finish work on the aluminum headliner before...
