    You can keep the old case and buy a bolt on bell housing that bolts to the front pump. That would be easier, not sure of the cost of the bolt on housing though. A friend of mine has used these and likes them. Just something to consider. Looked in JEGS online and found this one. http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...05&prmenbr=361

    As far as I know all overdrive tranny's have lock-up converters, if you didn't have them it would get too hot in overdrive.
