trans. problem
i have an 82 olds cutlass.i put an chevy big block in it.want to use my 350 trans. but i cant find torquconvetter to fit my flex plate.my flex plate is 14 1/4 in.the bolt holes are 10in.the torquconvetter i have tryed are 9 1/4 in. bolt to bolt.what do in need to do.change trans.or flex plate.

trans problem
call B&M and ask for their tech dept or slam a THM 400 with a short tail shaft housing and check your D shaft for proper length.

Be sure thats a t-350 transmission. The 82 olds came with either a t-200 a 200-R4 as alternatives to that transmission. If it had a 260 and you stole the flexplate from it, the plate wont bolt on. If it was a 307, its a 50/50 chance.Right engine, Wrong Wheels
Changed the shocks yesterday to OEM spec Monroe, they are still gas shocks. Disappointed that the ride is still very firm, it is not as bad but I was hoping for better. Might have something to do...
