    Cool rack and pinion

I HAVE A 1988 35TH ANNIVERSARY CORVETTE. THAT BOUNCES WHEN I REACH 70 MPH. HAVE NEW SHOCKS, TIRES, BALANCE. IS THS A SIGN THAT THE RACK AND PINION IS BAD OR BENT, BECAUSE THE RIDE HAS GOTTEN ROUGH.

Does the steering wheel shake when it bounces?

Like Pro says, does you steering wheel shake or rattle? Are you loosing oil from the rack. Other problems could be bad tires, warped rotors, bad ball joints, springs, strut cartridges, tie rod ends, shot bushing.
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
