    48 rear end

I have a 250 six cyl in my 48 chevy fleetline, but now need to install a rear end. Does anyone know what year chevy rear will fit using my stock springs. The old rear measures around 57" wide. I sure could use some help on this one. Thanks.

There is some info put together by Carl Ham, that you can access by typing in" IFS and rear end info "on your search engine. It will have everything you need

I have a '78 camaro 10 bolt in my car, fits the springs with the original mounts and is 57" wide. I bought the sring plate offered by speedway which has the shock mounts and sway bar mounts right on it.
