Just wondering if ya got it figured out. Had the same issue with a Fat Man Kit on my friends 55 Cheby truck. If you are NOT using the tubular motor mounts. We filled in the remaining space in the support of the mount(were your knuckle passes) making it larger as well, then hole sawed our passage fer the steering knuckle. This made that support wall piece larger and more sound for us to cut a hole through, instead of trimming the little that was originally there.
