this past sat I was at cruise where I came across a 64 Jag xke. I asked owner to open up hood & there perched on top of upper control arm was the style ball joint I am trying to find/replace on the WoodPile. So I think we can make this thing driveable & steerable after all, but I may replace steering column first, not sure. I have a couple GM's; one from 79 g body malibu wgn tilt, 82 tilt column from Phoenix SJ, & in a day or so a 86 suburban tilt(soon as I cut the truck apart-saving engine/tranny & now column) the quest continues..... any one of these columns preferable over the others?parts a rama is this weekend so I can find a better choice(maybe)
