spindle swap
What I would like to do, is swap a MII spud to a Chevy LUV spindle yoke. Therefore putting bigger disc brakes and 5 bolt wheels on a LUV. I know Herbert & Meeks did that stuff years ago. Does anyone know of anybody who could that now? In the past there have been people who did S10 spindle yoke swaps, but it required some machining and replacement of an adapter for the lower ball joint. There has to be a way to put better discs on that doesn't cost over $800 . Any body know anybody who can help?

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
