    Changing rearend

     



    Need some help, I got a Ford Maverick 8'' rearend. measuring from inside to inside it measures 49'' I was going to put this under a 39 Chevy but the Chevy measures 53'' am I measuring this the correct way.

    Measure axle flange surface to flange surface. You should be OK most builders want the narrower rear for better fender clearance and wheel tire selection.

    Hi I am putting a Maverick 8" under my 31 Model A and it is 56" mounting flange to mounting flange
