Way back, I put a set of V8 springs in the front of my beater 6cyl Granada. Did a real nice job of searching for owls in tree tops at night. I pulled it back apart and cut them down to the correct height. It did ride a bit harsh, but coupled with the new HD rear springs, made that sloppy handling car a lot better. But, with that said, I would get the right ones since you seem to have spent the bucks on everything else - just remember mine was a beater to commute 700 miles/week for work only.
