I agree w/Bob's answer - the rack should be attached to the axel. I also agree that this is a less than a perfect set-up for the street.Don Meyer, PhD-Mech Engr(48 GMC Trk/chopped/cab extended/caddy fins & a GM converted Rolls Royce Silver Shadow).
