tubular a arms
I have a 57 chev front is fiberglass tilt over, rear is tubbed with
21.5 x 33 tires with 4 link coil overs. the front suspension is stock.
I was wandering if putting tubular a arms on this car would help
performance. I am getting a little wobble side to side after letting
off the gas on a hard run. Also what about a sway bar?
engine is bb 468

The stock arms are stamped steel, and if original I'm sure the bushings are toast...... Tubular arms are much stronger and less prone to flex and can be had with polyurethene bushings... As stated on your other post, same subject, the big tires are prone to unloading and a lot of flex and bounce. Just the nature of the beast... Smaller size radial tires would hook better and not be so subject to a case of the wobbles when you lift....
What shape is the rest of your front end in? Idler arm, tie rod ends, pitman arm, etc...?????Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

HAVE NEW BALL JOINTS, AND TIE RODS, I KNOW THE BUSHINGS NEED
REPLACING. WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO BUY THE POLYURETHENE
BUSHINGS? i'M SURE THIS WOULD HELP.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
