    speedway motors and Borgeson make a fitting to change out to reduce the pressure of the pump usually used with a chevy pump and a for r&p. Ed ke6bnl a about $18

    You can plumb in a bypass valve in the pressure line to relieve the excess. Adjustable valves are available in any hydraulic supply house.
