    narrowed pinto rack

I have a narrowed pinto rack in my panel and want to know how is it done? I want to try and make another one for another frame and also want to make sure that it is a safe thing to try at home.
    Thanks.

I've narrowed them some by making some new steering arms, sometimes you can just cut a few more threads and use a shorter tie rod end... Or if you don't mind a bit of clanking, put a female heim joint on the end, lots shoreter then a tie rod end.... Just don't get the length wrong and build in a bunch of bump steer that will haunt you forever....
