    Mustang II TO Dropped axle

Ok thinking about changing my mustang II front suspension over to a dropped axle for the more vintage look, and getting rid of the fenders.
Has anyone done this, and how much work does it entail?

    Thanks,
    Mike

What kind of car? It will probably require a crossmember change, then the new axle setup, 4 bar or hairpins, some cutting and welding, repaint the effected areas of the frame.... Lots of work, but nothing too difficult.

Also, I assume that MII set-up has rack and pinion steering. So, you'll need a new steering box, a re-pop of the steering box to column linkage.

(It's going to be a lot harder if the MII is really in a Mustang . . . )
