    First do a good inspection and make sure no mounts are bent .

    I just recieved my heidts and a zip strip was used on the shaft for shock travel. As far as spanners go you can make one very easy to fit shock. Just use cardboard make a template of the shocks radius and add a tab by welding that fits slot with a handle about 6 to 8 inch's long. You can purchase spanners the right size at tool store's. You can also do the template to take and match up right spanner.
