Need help lowering my 1940 Chevy coup

I just purchased a 1940 delux coup and want to know how to "drop" the front end. Can anybody suggest anything? I dont want to cut the springs so any other suggestions would be appreciated. Is there such a thing as drop spindals? I have a 47 chevy that I cliped with a camaro and dont have the $$$ to replace the front end on this 1940 so any "cheap" suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks ! K9

I think that Fat Man Fabrication makes dropped spindles for 40's.
