Chevy Tri-5 vs. Tri-5 pontiac suspensions

I am wondering how different the front suspensions are between the tri-5 chevys and the tri-5 pontiacs. I just bought a 1956 Pontiac and I'm hoping to do some mods, including air bags up front. Lots of air ride kits are made for Tri-5 chevys and I was just wondering if they would work on pontiacs also. Was also thinking of doing a front disk brake conversion at some point. Some help and advice would be appreciated on the subjects. Thanks.

Canadian Ponchos are the same suspension as Chevys, not sure about American ones. The rear ends are different on the US ones, I know.
