The cross pin goes through an indent of the spring pin. With that removed the spring pin pulls out from the grease fitting side. ED ke6bnl

Thanks, I am going to give it a shot tonight. So far the spring studs have been one of the only things that came off without the grinder, I am assuming due to their being greased regularly.

Yeah, that didn't work. I got the cross bolts out really easy, but the studs won't budge!!! I can't get them to spin, I can't drive them out (no access from the back). I guess maybe I will try drilling them out, since they already have such a large hole in them for the grease fitting. They are just not moving at all!
