correcting the way my truck leans
ok my chevy 1500 leans 1 inch lower on the drivers side. i took some leafs out and have washers in there to maintain the pinion angle. will adding 1 extra inch of washers on the drivers side correct this?

Assuming the point was to lower the body - or was it for softer springs?
I think de-arched springs are better than removing leafs.
Now you have a sub-standard spring rate, for the truck weight and that could be dangerous.
IMHO - pinion angle is better adjusted with a wedge rather than washers, which will rub, grind, rust and wear out eventually.
Removing leafs must have caused the spring arch to turn up or down at the axle mounts.
If only the rear leaf springs were altered, one must be weaker than the other now.
Sure, you can shim the axle on one side or the other, but you still have a weak spring on one side - not safe!

its to lower it. im just doing this as a quick fix and so i can tow it (its not driveable to its not like its a huge hazard right now) im going to get some new ones and get them de arched
