Squaring up my rear end to the frame ??
I pulled the rear end & leaf springs out and replaced the springs.. I don't like the Idea of installing the freshly painted rear end with new u bolts to the springs with any measurements to align the rear to ???? Everybody has seen a car crabing down the road .. I don't want this...

this is the way i do it to the front and back need to track square. eveything else goes for the ride

If your front axle is square to the frame, all you need to do is measure from the back of the front to the front of the rear. It doesn't make any difference what it measures as long as it is the same on both sides.theres no foo like an old foo

You can measure from the center of your Trans Cross-member,measure to each axle tube till thay are equle then your dead nuts ,I like to keep it simple other methods are fine if you know for certian the front end is in good alinement.set the rear up off the front then get an alinement and you may be off a bit,but like I said it helps if you no vehicle history when using any method.

Yeah, never even wanted one, then my brother in law gave me one for Christmas. They work great!!! Now I want to get me one of those fancy ones that sets on a tripod and shoots two angles....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Geez Mike!!! I hate it when stuff like that happens!!!! Just last week I was stanging on the roll center, lost my balance and fell down!!!

did the center roll over you? maybe you need to get it a little lower so you want have to fall to far. dont get it to low though or you will loose your side bite. Originally Posted by Dave Severson
