I purchased a 9.00 dollar spanner wrench to adjust the ride height on my 34 coupe with Heit IFS. I am not the strongest at 68 but the wrench slips off and clearance is a problem. Should I compress the spring,before adjusting or what? I need to raise it about 2 Inches.It is at the bottom position now. I am learning all over as it's been 40 yrs since I built my last car.Is there a trick to this adjustment I don't know about.
