is boxing the stock lower trailing arms just as good as buying an aftermarket set? If so, how do you box them, any pics? I have a 65 chevelle with a pretty much stock rear suspension. Thanks in advance

i made a set out of steel 3/16 rec tub and cap the ends and weld sleeves for soild bushing to ride in and add grease fittings to them for the soild bushing

I've done them with 1/8th bar stock to box them in,and poly bushings,

yes but the ends are very thin and seen them crack out on the ends i woud make some new one or buy some done

Also when welding be sure you know what your doing ,you can easily warp them (BAD!).I am adding metal plates top (10 gauge),and bottom on my 65 truck trailing arms.I am goin to tack weld the trailing arms together to help to keep them straight while I do my welding.Then space my welds apart, and place them equaly on all sides.
